Vodka Penne


This sauce is pale pink and creamy. For added taste, top with sliced hot Italian sausages.

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 oz vodka
  • ¼ tsp crushed red pepper
  • 1 28 ounce crushed tomatoes
  • ½ cup parmesan cheese
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 pound penne
  • 2 tablespoons parsley
  • 1 cup cream
  • 1 pound penne

Instructions:

  1. Melt butter in saucepan and add cheese.
  2. When cheese is melted, cream together cheese and butter.
  3. Stir in canned tomatoes and spices.
  4. Heat for 15 minutes on low.
  5. Add cream and heat for 10 minutes.
  6. Add vodka at last minute and serve over cooked and drained penne.
