Unique Festivals and Events - February

Many cities and towns hold traditional annual events surrounding a particular regional food, animal or cultural activity. Strawberry Festivals, Jazz Festivals and Summer Festivals abound, but some celebrations are much more unusual, such as the World Grits Festival in South Carolina, Ohio's Moonshine Festival or The Gizzard Fest in Michigan.

    February 4 - 5, 2006
    
    Events include a chocolate-chip pancake breakfast, a chocolate sculpting contest and chocolate vendors.
