Cockeyed Cake

Also known as "wacky cake", this cake is moist and very easy to make.

Ingredients

• 1 cup sugar
• 1 1/2 cups flour
• 1/4 cup cocoa
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 5 tablespoons oil
• 1 tablespoon vinegar
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 cup cold water

Instructions

1. Sift sugar, flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt into mixing bowl and mix well with whisk.
2. Add oil, vinegar, vanilla and water and stir with wooden spoon until well combined.
3. Pour into ungreased 8" square cake pan and bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.
4. When cake is cool, frost and cut while still in pan and serve.
